Sony FDR X3000 Action Camera

Sony has reported that the 4K-capable flagship FDR-X3000 action camera (already available in Japan) will go on sale in the US, alongside the Full HD FDR-AS300 action camera. Both use Sony's Optical SteadyShot image stabilization (BOSS) , which can be utilized when capturing 4K video on the X3000 and Full HD video on the AS300.
Capturing stabilized 4K footage using an action camera is a really big deal.
Both the X3000 and AS300 additionally highlight new Zeiss lens designs, and use 8.2 megapixel BSI Exmor R CMOS sensors with total sensor readout without pixel binning.
