Ricoh GR III
The Ricoh GR III is a lightweight, pocketable, camera featuring a 28mm equivalent. F2.8
lens along with 24MP APS-C sensor. It includes a sensor-shift shake reduction
system (which may be utilized for reproducing the effect of an anti-aliasing
filter) alongside a hybrid autofocus system. It features a 3" touchscreen (supported
by an optical viewfinder), hot shoe, USB-C port with video output and included Wi-Fi. The GR III can
acquire video at 1080/60p.
The GR III includes a "newly designed lens, image sensor and imaging motor" to the blend that should keep it as a
competitive option at sub-$1,000 costs. There is only a solitary photo to make a decision by, yet the
design doesn't seem to have changed from the past model
The sensor has been upgraded from 16 MP to 24.2 MP, it has a USB-C connection and there's a new software interface to make it easier to use. It will be available in early 2019, but so far there's no word on exactly how much it will cost.
